This beautiful jigsaw

[vc_row el_class="blog-body"][vc_column][vc_column_text]Starting a church is a bit like starting a massive, beautiful jigsaw. There are lots and lots of pieces, but how do you put them together? Which piece do you pick up first?This weekend one of the pieces clicked, and it suddenly became obvious what we should do next. So we’re very excited to announce that in September we’re starting our first community group.

What’s a community group?

A community group is small and informal and meets weekly to worship together, pray together, study the word of God together, share our lives with each other and encourage one another in godliness. It's about building loving relationships within a living and vibrant community.It's also about being in community for the community, so the community group will work hard to bless those around us and share the fantastic news of Jesus!Community groups will be the backbone of Hope Community Church. Even when we’re a big church, worshipping together on a Sunday, we'll still meet as community groups during the week to look after one another and love our community.But of course, our first community group will be something extra special – it’ll be that small seed in the ground from which a large tree will grow. It will be the beginning of Hope Community Church. So you can see why we’re really excited!
