A new season
[vc_row el_class="blog-body"][vc_column][vc_column_text]So August has flown by and many people are back to their usual routine, be that work or battling the school run and planning the next holidaySeptember marks the end of one season and the beginning of another, and no more so than here at Hope! We've been blessed by a season of friends praying and standing by us to start us off in our church planting adventure. Now we're entering a season of taking a deep breath and doing it - our first community group starts meeting next week! We're so excited by how God is going to use that. One of the challenges dear friends have given us this summer is to communicate more widely what Hope Community Church is about - what it stands for and what makes it different. So over the next few weeks, we'll be blogging specifically about our church values - what they mean, where you can find them in the Bible and why they're important. We're passionate that these values aren't just nice ideas but are rooted in the sureness of God's word, the Bible. Culture will always change around us and ideas will fall in and out of fashion but truly biblical values give us unchanging principles that are a firm foundation to to build upon. The practical outworking of these values may change overtime, because what makes sense for a congregation of 20 may not work for one of 200, but we're passionate that the DNA of the church God is calling us to build will remain true - whatever the season. If you're passionate to see local churches built on biblical foundations and want to get involved why not get in touch or come along to our Community Group. We'll be meeting every Wednesday 8-9.30pm. Call us on 07496 356199 or email welcome@hope-community.church and get stuck in![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
